Create a "game plan"!
To ensure completion of your chapter book before the end of the semester, we will create a “game-plan” (or schedule) for completing the book. We will do this in class on the day the book-in-class is due. (Check your syllabus.) If you plan to be absent this day, please email me (1-2 days before) for an appointment so we can create the plan together.
This plan will help you complete your book before the end of the semester. Update it often. You will write how many pages you read each day and record how often you read with a tutor.
You must read in the ASC (by yourself or preferably with a tutor). Plan to visit the ASC to read at least once a week. Read/work with a tutor for at least 15 minutes before asking for a tutor’s initial. You are welcome to visit more often, but I only need a signature once a week. You must have at least 5 signatures before your presentation to earn full points for your game plan, which I will check regularly.

Update your plan every week!
Your "game plan" tells you how many pages you need to read each week. Make sure you update it often because you may read more or less than you plan. For example, let's say you plan on reading 12 pages a week. Maybe you read 14. That's great! That means you can adjust your plan. You're 2 pages ahead of schedule.
If you have questions or would like my help with your game plan, please let me know. Either make an appointment and/or email me. I'm here to help!
